Is the Spanish friki the same as the English freak/freaky? Or is it more like wierdo? I think wierdo is less strong than freaky. Also freak is a bit dated in English. Or is it more like pervert/perv? Pipi Estrada (Spanish figure of Prensa de Corazon) has been accused of being a friki - does this suggest sexual perversion because his girlfriend is a porn star or does it just mean he's a creep or wierd......?
This is just idle curiosity I just wondered what word you all think comes closest.
